SOLARAPP+ JURISDICTION DIRECTORY
Explore local coverage.
Loading jurisdiction data…
Loading coverage map
A directory match does not establish project eligibility. Pilot status, supported services, licensing, and local rules must be confirmed with the jurisdiction. Map points indicate approximate jurisdiction locations, not legal boundaries.
Check your jurisdiction.
SolarAPP+ automates parts of the permit review for qualifying residential solar and storage projects in participating jurisdictions. Coverage and supported systems vary by city or county.
Check official coverage ↗What “instant permitting” means
For eligible designs submitted by qualified contractors, automated review may issue a permit and inspection checklist quickly. It does not mean your project can be installed, inspected, interconnected, or energized on the same day.
What to confirm
- Whether your authority having jurisdiction has adopted SolarAPP+ or is participating in a pilot.
- Whether your system type, battery configuration, and property qualify.
- Required contractor registration, permit fees, and inspection steps.
- Your utility’s separate interconnection and permission-to-operate requirements.
Understand your project timeline
Design, site assessment, electrical or roof upgrades, installation scheduling, inspections, and utility review all affect the timeline. Ask your installer for a milestone schedule and verify local requirements.
